Getting an Itch Scratched

Opi and Nellie Belle are having a hard time with itching this summer. They do NOT have fleas. Here they are enjoying getting brushed by their daddy with a rubber like brush that is actually made for cleaning fur off of furniture. Opi and Nellie have only one thing to say today "Happy Father's Day Dad!"

Big Sister Barney--A Wanna Be Chi!

Not too long ago, I saw Barney sitting on one of the chi's beds. She had her ears all perked up and pointing like a chihuaha's ears! How funny is this! I thought to myself "Barney is a 'wanna be chi'!" Here's the picture and I hope you get a chuckle out of it like I did.

Barney is big sister to Nellie Belle and Opi. Here Barney shows off her new pink bandana with peace symbols on it. She recently had her hair cut too and is looking pretty cute for an almost 15 year old girl. That's it for now folks and we're leaving you with wagging tails and hugs...

Walking the Dogs...

People tend to treat their dogs, especially small dogs like children (me included). I've seen folks taking their dogs for walks so they can have the benefit of exercise for both master and dog. Now I think I've seen just about everything--one of the latest things is for the little doggies to ride in a special stroller! Isn't this going a bit far with our furry little ones? Although, my Opi tends to be a little lazy so maybe this isn't such a bad idea after all. What do you think? Hugs and wagging tails....

Here are my 2 kids dressed for Easter last weekend. Nellie is pretty obvious in her dislike for dressing-up. Opi on the other hand goes with the flow and whether he's nude or dressed to the nines is ok with him.

Opi Claiming New Afghan

I recently finished crocheting a new afghan and Opi staked a claim to it right away. He loves to wrap up in blankets, afghans or throws to stay warm. He has claimed this new one too but I think he'll have to wrestle with his "parents" or share it.
