Opi Went to Vet Today

Here's Opi and he doesn't feel well.  In the picture, he is all bundled up and ready to go to the vet.Opi had been complaining of his chest and abdomin hurting for the last 3 days by letting out a loud, painful sounding yelp.  When we got to the vet's office, he was fine and didn't let out a peep even when his temperature was taken rectally.  The vet had him walk across the room and was surprised and told Opi's mommy "that's a bow-legged little guy!"  There were 2 other chis at the vet's office and one was so petite next to 7lb Opi.  After the vet visit, Opi was taken to Feeder Supply and got his usual after vet treat.

What's New With Opi, Nellie Belle and Sister Barney

Opi and Nellie Belle have a new crocheted mat for their naps on the cold floor.  Their mommy made it for them.  Here's some pictures of them using it:

Our sister Barney has had a lump on her bottom for several years.  The vet has said that we shouldn't worry about it.  He didn't want to take it off because Barney might have problems from the general anesthesia she'd have to have if it was removed.  No problems for years until mommy came home from work a couple weeks ago and found blood all over the house.  Barney had chewed on it.  Mommy loaded Barney into the car and rushed off to the vet.  Barney had to wear one of those things mommy calls a funnel collar and take antibiotics.  Barney is ok now and we're happy.  We all teased her and called her "Funnel Head" but we are really happy she is ok now.
